Insurance & Pricing

Do you work with insurance companies?

Absolutely! We work with all major insurance providers including State Farm, GEICO, Progressive, Allstate, USAA, Farmers, Liberty Mutual, and many others. We have extensive experience handling claims and can guide you through the entire process.

Will my insurance cover auto glass repair or replacement?

Most comprehensive auto insurance policies cover windshield repair or replacement with little to no out-of-pocket cost. Coverage depends on your specific policy. We can verify your coverage by contacting your insurance provider directly, saving you time and hassle.

Will using my insurance for auto glass work raise my rates?

In most cases, auto glass claims under comprehensive coverage are considered no-fault claims and typically don't result in premium increases. However, policies vary by provider and state, so we recommend checking with your insurance agent for specific details about your policy.

Do you offer warranties on your work?

Yes, we stand behind our work with a lifetime warranty against defects in materials and workmanship for as long as you own your vehicle. This includes leaks, molding issues, and installation-related problems. We use only high-quality OEM or OEM-equivalent glass to ensure optimal performance and durability.

What if I don't have insurance or don't want to use it?

We offer competitive cash pricing for all our services. We can provide a free, no-obligation quote before any work begins. We also offer financing options through partnerships with several providers to help make unexpected auto glass repairs more affordable.

Technical Questions

Can my windshield be repaired, or does it need replacement?

Windshield damage can often be repaired if: the chip is smaller than a quarter, the crack is shorter than 6 inches, the damage isn't in the driver's line of sight, and the damage doesn't extend to the edge of the windshield. Our technicians will assess your specific situation and recommend the safest option.

What is ADAS calibration and why might I need it?

Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) use cameras and sensors often mounted on your windshield to enable safety features like automatic emergency braking, lane departure warnings, and adaptive cruise control. After windshield replacement, these systems may need recalibration to ensure they function correctly. We provide both static and dynamic calibration services.

How soon can I drive after a windshield replacement?

The adhesive used in windshield installation needs time to cure properly. While the initial set takes about an hour, full curing can take 24-48 hours depending on temperature and humidity. We recommend minimizing driving for the first hour and avoiding car washes, high-speed driving, and slamming doors for at least 24 hours.

What type of glass do you use for replacements?

We use OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) glass or high-quality OEM-equivalent glass that meets or exceeds all safety standards. OEM glass matches what was originally installed at the factory, while OEM-equivalent glass offers the same quality and specifications but is produced by a different manufacturer, often at a lower cost.

Is it safe to drive with a cracked windshield?

Driving with a cracked windshield can be dangerous for several reasons: it compromises the structural integrity of your vehicle, can impair visibility, and may interfere with advanced safety systems. Additionally, a small crack can quickly spread due to temperature changes, vibration, and pressure. We recommend addressing windshield damage promptly.

Scheduling & Preparation

How do I schedule service?

Scheduling is easy! You can book an appointment online through our website, call us directly at (555) 123-4567, or use our chat feature. We offer flexible scheduling including same-day and next-day appointments in many cases. Emergency services may also be available.

Do I need to prepare my vehicle before service?

For best results, please clear the area around your vehicle (about 4-5 feet on all sides) to give our technicians room to work. Remove valuable items from the vehicle, and clean out the immediate area around the damaged glass if possible. No other preparation is necessary.

What if I need to cancel or reschedule my appointment?

We understand plans change. Please notify us at least 24 hours in advance if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. For same-day cancellations, please call us as soon as possible so we can adjust our schedule accordingly.

Can I get service in bad weather?

For mobile service, we need to work in temperatures above 40°F with no precipitation. If weather conditions are unsuitable for mobile service, we may need to reschedule or offer service at our shop. Our scheduling team monitors weather conditions and will contact you if adjustments are needed.

How quickly can you service my vehicle?

We offer same-day and next-day service in most cases. For common vehicle models, we typically have glass in stock and ready for immediate installation. Rare or specialty glass may require ordering, which can take 1-3 business days. Emergency service options are available for urgent situations.
